Bialystok University of Technology (BUT) is the largest technical university in the north-eastern region of Poland. BUT is a technology centre of the region and graduates from here are in demand in the labour markets in Poland and abroad. The University consists of seven faculties with more than 13,000 students and 678 academic teachers.

  • In June 2013 HYPERION TEAM represented by BUT students won the international competition University Rover Challenge held nearby Mars Desert Research Station in Hanksville, Utah, USA. By gaining 493 points out of 500 possible they set an absolute record of the competition!
  • Hyperion 2, just like its predecessor, won the prestigious University Rover Challenge 2014 competition in the United States. The team from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is the first team to celebrate their second consecutive victory in the history of the championships organizedin a desert in the State of Utah, whichhave just finished. Last year,the students from Bialystok scored
    a record number of points – 493 out of 500.
  • Award Winner “Horizontal Farm” International Architecture & urban AWR competition held in New Delhi, India.
